About

Aaron was born in Great Yarmouth, England, and was fortunate enough to spend his childhood scattered across the world. He received a BFA in Illustration from Ringling College of Art and Design in Sarasota, Florida.  His artwork has appeared in numerous publications and galleries throughout the US and abroad. His work combines a childlike fixation on funny creatures and odd hybrids with a peculiar, nightmarish monumentalism. Bold colored acrylic and ink-washed  backgrounds frame the pieces, while fairytale spotlights illuminate the characters. The key is the absolute believability of his completely fantastical, fabricated reality.
